Holy Bible
The Holy Bible is composed of two parts. The first of these is the Old Testament, and the second part is called the New Testament. There are 66 books of the Bible. The first 39 are placed under the Old Testament and the remaining 27 under the New Testament. The division between these two parts is based upon with the birth of the Jesus Christ; the Old Testament includes the period before the Birth of Jesus while the New Testament follows the Birth, Life, and Death of Jesus Christ as well as early Church history.
Salvation Prayer
You may ask ''What do I need to do for my sins to be forgiven, and as a result gain eternal life in Heaven?'' The same question was asked to Jesus Christ; He gave a very simple answer: ''To believe in Jesus who God has sent'' (Yuhanna 6:29).
But how do we believe in Jesus Christ? This question was again answered by Jesus in John 14:6: ''I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'' Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again three days later. He is the only way between humanity and God. If you pray this simple prayer below, your sins can be forgiven and you can become a child of God today. Thus, through Christ, you will gain access to eternal life in Heaven.
Dear God,
I repent of my sins and believe that your son Jesus Christ carried my sins on the cross on my behalf, and He rose again from the dead the third day. Jesus Christ, I accept you as my Lord and Savior. I believe that my sins have been forgiven and I am a Child of God.
